Keller and The Keels roll into Tipitina's on Friday at 9 pm, an acoustic trio built on Keller Williams' looping mischief and the razor-flatpicking of Larry Keel with Jenny Keel locking the low end. They twist bluegrass, folk, and jam into buoyant three-part harmonies and left-field covers that land with a grin. Two decades after their Grass collab, the chemistry is still lively and loose.
