Hot 8 Brass Band closes the weekend the way this city likes it, late and loud at The Howlin' Wolf on Sunday at 10:30 pm. The band's second-line core folds funk, bounce, and hip-hop into horn lines that swagger and sing, turning covers and originals into call-and-response workouts. They have carried New Orleans brass to the world and keep it street-tough at home.
