Big Gay Trivia Extravaganza combines LGBTQ+ history, pop culture, music, film, television, drag, and iconic moments into a fast-paced team trivia experience hosted by Muffy Vanderbilt III. Do I need to be LGBTQ+ to play? Absolutely not. Big Gay Trivia Extravaganza is open to everyone 21+ who enjoys trivia, cocktails, and a fun night out. The questions celebrate LGBTQ+ culture, history, entertainment, and Pride, but all are welcome to participate.  How many people can be on my team? One ticket includes registration for one team of up to four guests. Is this a seated event? Yes. Seating is limited and reserved for registered teams and guests. Is this event 21+? Yes. All guests must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid ID. Will there be prizes? Yes. Teams will have opportunities to win prizes and giveaways throughout the night. Where is the event located? Big Gay Trivia Extravaganza takes place at The Madison Shop Bar inside The Rubenstein Hotel, located on historic St. Charles Avenue in downtown New Orleans. Where can I park? Valet parking is available at The Rubenstein Hotel for $50. Additional public parking is available nearby, including surface lots and garages throughout the Central Business District and along St. Charles Avenue. What time should I arrive? We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the event begins to check in, grab a cocktail, and get settled with your team. Will there be specialty cocktails? Yes. The Madison Shop Bar will feature specialty cocktails created exclusively for Big Gay Trivia Extravaganza. What should I wear? There is no dress code, but we encourage guests to have fun with it.
