Courtney Bryan & FriendsCourtney Bryan is a celebrated New Orleansborn composer and pianist known for blending classical, jazz, gospel, and experimental music into a deeply expressive and socially engaged body of work. Her compositions, inspired by spirituality, community, and social justice, have been commissioned and performed by major institutions including the New York Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A 2023 MacArthur Fellow and United States Artists Fellow, Bryan is also an Associate Professor of Music at Tulane University and currently serves as composer-in-residence with Opera Philadelphia.
